For the explorers. For the storytellers.

Ardhata Sans is a translational text typeface that takes inspiration from the spirit of freedom in expressing through storytelling, which is the right of every human being.

Every form and little detail from each character tells a story while being carefully constructed to balance the conventional and playful personalities. This combination made Ardhata Sans perform well in any digital and printed platform, ranging from small body texts at 6–12pt and headlines at 28pt and above.

Finding the perfect “why” before the “how”.

It was started as an idea to create a typeface that looks conventionally enough but still has its own personality. Something that looks ordinary but also lively at the same time. Something that is digitally engineered but infused with the qualities of the human touch. The question now is, “How to discover the immaculate balance?”

Every small detail matters.

The main idea of this typeface is to help people express their message, not to be the expression itself. This means that the details I added must be unpretentious enough. So, to achieve a flawless look, I made sure every tiny detail attained the balanced appearance that I was looking for.

The end of the beginning.

This font was created during my 12-week intensive course with Type Design Club, an initiative that provided invaluable support throughout my journey. This first font design experience ignited my love for typography and inspired me to continue creating more fonts in the future.
